Copenhagen is proud to team up with four local charities in Tucson for our first annual giveaway charity event. From 2022 through 2025, Copenhagen raised a total of $300,000 for hunger relief. This year, we’ve expanded our partnerships to include local animal rescues, children’s and community health organizations, and food banks to support these essential causes. Simply donate $10 in-store to Friends of Pima Animal Care, Children’s Clinics, Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona, or Casa de Los Niños to receive an entry ticket for a chance to win a Stressless® recliner.
Children’s Clinics is an outpatient medical center serving children with complex medical needs, including cerebral palsy, spina bifida, muscular dystrophy, cleft lip and palate, and other chronic and specialized conditions. They provide a family-centered, comprehensive medical home designed to meet the unique needs of each child and their family, delivering exceptional care in a respectful and compassionate environment.
Located in Tucson, the Community Food Bank serves the southern Arizona region by providing access to food and supporting long-term solutions to hunger. They offer various programs and initiatives, aiming to not just alleviate hunger today but build a foundation for a future free from food insecurity. Their work includes distributing food, advocating for policies that address hunger, and collaborating with community partners to create lasting change. In 2024, the Community Food bank distributed almost 35 million pounds of food to families, seniors and students across five counties in Southern Arizona. Last year, the food bank handed out 499,792 emergency food boxes providing much needed food to 171,038 people.
For over 50 years, Casa de los Niños has served the Tucson community to prevent child abuse and neglect while supporting and empowering families. The organization delivers a continuum of evidence-based services that address the needs of children and families at every stage. Its work is grounded in three core pillars: prevention, intervention, and treatment. Together, these services provide comprehensive support that promotes safety, healing, and long-term family well-being.
Pima Animal Care Center is the only open-admission shelter in Pima County, serving over 9,000 square miles and never turning away a pet in need. Every animal that enters the shelter is treated as an individual, with efforts made to provide the care needed for a healthy outcome. Friends of PACC supports these life-saving efforts by granting over $4 million annually in financial and in-kind support. Founded in 2016, Friends of PACC was created to ensure the shelter has the resources needed so every pet can have a safe, healthy, and happy future.
