A Pop of Fun: New Bold Colors and Patterns at Copenhagen

Lorenzo sofa by Incanto

Deep green. Rich burgundy. Striking stripes and playful dots. Color and pattern have a powerful ability to make a room come alive by shaping ambiance, adding depth, and reflecting the occupants’ personalities. As we move through the 2020’s, we’re seeing color and pattern make a big resurgence in home design. Whether it’s bright hues, moody shades, or even layering multiple patterns, these bold design choices reflect a movement toward more vibrant and personalized spaces.

Here at Copenhagen, we curate a wide selection of furniture and accessories that reflect both timeless styles and emerging trends. We’ve recently added exciting new pieces to our collection that embody bold takes on color and pattern, highlighted below. We hope you love them as much as we do.

Chromatic Boost

In terms of color, shades of green are having a big moment right now, especially earthy greens that strike the perfect balance between groundedness and warmth. A sectional like Liliana, or a seating set like Emilio, makes an instant focal point in any room with their dark olive leather. Lighter, dusty greens add a more delicate feel, whether you’re accessorizing with the Aldo Swivel Chair or outfitting your kitchen counter with the Paperclip Stool.

Indeed, colors found in nature tend to have enduring style for the way they imbue a space with tranquility. Blue is another great example of this. Our Bryson Swivel Chair is available in ocean blue leather with a curved seat back that enhances your relaxation. Or, dream big with the Prato Sectional in striking teal blue, accented by walnut wood panels and power motion seats. For a retro look, we recommend the Lake Sofa in blue fabric upholstery, supported by an elegant, slatted frame in solid walnut.

Further along the color spectrum, we’re seeing purple and red make an appearance too. Whether it’s the rich merlot of the Zig Console, or the bright red of the Paperclip Stool, these hues add energy and sophistication to a space. Also notable is the Andria Loveseat in brown fabric that has a distinctive purple undertone as well as a velvety, ribbed texture – a prime example of how color and texture can combine to create a fully unique experience.

Finally, we’d like to give a shoutout to the yellow leather of the Lorenzo seating. Tempered with a hint of brown, this cheerful color instantly warms up a room, lifting the mood and putting occupants at ease.

Accessories With Attitude

Your home is an extension of yourself, so don’t forget to choose decor that excites you! Whether you love whimsical patterns or artistic shapes, our new accessories are bursting with joy. Check out our latest acquisitions from Ambienti Glamour, an Italian manufacturer of fun modern sculptures, and LSA International, a UK-based maker of fine glassware.

For instance, the Orange Girl Sculpture sports a mosaic of playful patterns across her body, while My Happy Horse is ideal for brightening up a Southwestern interior or an animal lover’s abode. Display a bouquet of your favorite flowers in the striped Folk Vase by LSA, or liven up snack time with the Folk Bowl, both inspired by traditional Polish costumes.

Bold yet cozy, new rugs by Feizy blend traditional craftsmanship with contemporary flair to make works of art for your floor. The Eden Rug has a geometric pattern in shades of brown that form that backdrop for pops of red, green, blue, and pink. Equally eye-catching is the Clio Rug with its abstract expressionist design in blue and earth tones.

As another note, we’re also seeing chromatic play through accessories that blend saturated colors with pastel tints. Ichendorf Milano’s Boreale Vase has a layered structure with a base in rich amber and an upper section in light pink, allowing the pristine delicacy of the glass to shine through in a new way. For your backyard and patio, HOUE’s Portable Outdoor Lamps are available in bright red as well as powder pink, pastel blue, and neutral beige and black, perfect for mixing and matching.

Whether it’s a daring sectional or an exquisite vase, our furnishings and accessories are here to make your home more joyful. Come see what’s new at Copenhagen and discover fresh ways to express yourself through interior design.
